*Updated: June 2026* *Author: Carefree Support* Each site page in CarefreeSCADA can be customized to show the specific data values, digital statuses, and equipment panels that are most useful for your team. Changes are saved per site and visible to all users. Customizing a site page requires the Operator-L1 or Manager role. See [[User Permissions]] for details. To access customization, click the **Pencil icon** in the top right corner of any Site page. See [[Site Pages]] for a guide to the site page layout. --- ## Analog Display Configuration After clicking the Pencil in the top right of the page, you can click the "Edit Analog Displays" button under the existing Analog Displays. This will open up a window along the right of the page that shows all of the currently configured Analog Displays, and the ability to adjust and add more displays. Each of the Analog Displays have the following settings: * Name This is the text displayed on the Analog Display to describe what the value is for. * Format String (Default: "#,##0.#") The Format String controls how the value is formatted in the Analog Display, the hash marks (#) indicate to only populate the position if the value requires it, a zero (0) indicates to force a value even if it isn't required. For example, the default Format String will display a raw number of 1112.34 as "1,112.3", where a format string of "#,##0" would format the number as "1,112" and a Format String of "#,##0.##" would format the number as "1,112.34". * Eng Units This field is used to enter the Engineering Units for the value being displayed, you can use any value you want in here just note the system will always capitalize whatever value you enter. * Selected Tag This selection box will open a window where you can pick what tag value you want to populate the Analog Display in question. You can either use the default tag source which is whatever [[Navigation#Sites|Site]] you currently have selected, or you can pick any other tag source that is configured for other Sites in your system. * Use Popup This checkbox changes if clicking the Analog Display will open a popup window that shows the last 12 hours trend (If history is enabled on the selected tag) ## Digital Display Configuration After clicking the Pencil in the top right of the page, you can click the "Edit Digital Displays" button. Each of the Panel Displays have the following settings: * Name This is the text displayed on the Panel Display to describe what the panel is for. * Symbol Configuration The Symbol configuration lets you configure multiple types of symbols to be displayed inside of the panel. The types of Symbols currently available for use are [[#Symbol Pump|Pump]], [[#Symbol Motor|Motor]], [[#Symbol Vessel|Vessel]], and [[#Symbol Valve|Valve]]. Each of the symbols have their own edit page which are detailed below. One setting that all of the symbols have in common is the appearance. Every Symbol has the option of "P&ID", "Simple", and "Mimic". P&ID symbols look the most like what you would find in a P&ID System Overview Schematic. Simple symbols have more detail and annimation in their appearance. Mimic symbols try to make a 2D replica of the physical equipment they are trying to represent. * Analog Display 1, 2, 3 Analog displays on the panels follow the same configuration structure as the [[#Analog Display Configuration]] ### Symbol: Pump The pump symbol is used for displaying the running and alarm status of pumps in a Water or Wastewater setting, it can be configured with a running signal and up to five alarm inputs to show when there is an alarm with the pump. The image displayed here is of the default "P&ID" style symbol. ### Symbol: Motor The motor symbol can be used to display any motor function, it supports displaying the running status as well as up to five alarm inputs to show an alarm status on the symbol. The image displayed here is of the default "P&ID" style symbol. ### Symbol: Vessel The Vessel symbol can be used to display Tanks or Wet Well Vaults, it supports showing the current capacity of the vessel using an analog value. There is also the ability to display an agitator in the vessel for tanks that have a mixer. For alarming, up to five alarm inputs can be associated with the symbol to display an alarm condition. The image displayed here is of the default "P&ID" style symbol. ### Symbol: Valve The Valve symbol can be used to display valve open and close status, as well as the transitioning status and open percent. As with many of the other symbols, the orientation and appearance can be adjusted. With the valve symbol specifically you can adjust the direction the flow is going through the symbol to make the symbols perfectly fit into a custom designed P&ID Diagram for the [[Dashboards]]. --- *For help configuring your site pages, contact Carefree Support at [email protected] or call (208) 362-5858.* *© 2026 Advanced Control Systems, LLC.
