*Updated: June 2026* *Author: Carefree Support* Dashboards in CarefreeSCADA are a free-form canvas for displaying real-time data from your sites. Use them to build a personalized overview that shows exactly the values and equipment statuses you care about most. Each user can create and save their own dashboards. To customize which values appear on a site page, see [[Customize Site Pages]]. --- ## Carefree Widgets Widgets are the building blocks of a dashboard. Each widget is a single live data value or status indicator pulled from one of your Carefree sites. For example, if a Reservoir Level is configured on your Reservoir site page, it will be available as a widget to place on any dashboard. --- ## Edit Mode To enter Edit Mode, click the **Edit Mode** button at the top of the dashboard page. A grid overlay will appear showing the available tile positions. To place a widget: 1. Click a single tile, or click and drag across multiple tiles to create a larger widget. 2. The **Widget Selector** panel opens showing all available widgets organized by site. Use the search field or collapse individual sites to find what you need. 3. Click a widget to place it on the selected tile(s). --- ## Saving Dashboards Once your layout is ready, click **Save** at the top of the page. If this is a new dashboard, a popup will ask you to give it a name. Saving an existing dashboard overwrites the previous layout. --- ## Default Dashboard Use the **Set Default** button to designate one dashboard as your default view.
