## What is the Maintenance Schedule?
The Carefree Systems Maintenance Schedule is a calendar showing all upcoming planned maintenance windows for Carefree servers and platform infrastructure. It is provided so your team can plan around scheduled downtime and is not caught off guard by brief service interruptions.
## How to Access the Maintenance Schedule
1. From the left-side navigation bar, click **Help**.
2. Click **Carefree Systems Maintenance Schedule**.
The calendar will display any upcoming maintenance windows, including the planned date, time, and a brief description of the work being performed.
## What to Expect During a Maintenance Window
During a scheduled maintenance window, you may experience:
- Brief interruptions to access to the CarefreeSCADA web interface
- Temporary delays in alarm notifications
- Short periods where historical data and analytics are not accessible
Maintenance windows are planned to be as brief as possible and are typically scheduled during low-activity periods — such as early morning hours — to minimize impact on your operations.
> **Important:** Maintenance windows affect the CarefreeSCADA hosted web application and notification services only. Your field equipment, PLCs, and on-site control systems continue operating normally during any Carefree server maintenance.
## Advance Notice
Managers on your account will receive an email notification in advance of any scheduled maintenance window. This gives your team time to plan accordingly and inform operators of any expected interruptions.
If you are a Manager and are not receiving maintenance notifications, verify that your email address is correctly configured in your user account. See [[Manage User Account]] for instructions.
